Let's get a show of hands: Who has opened a tester jar of hand moisturizer and stuck a finger in it? Seems innocent enough, right? File this under: Facts You Suspected But Didn't Want Confirmed. For a segment on GMA, beauty product samples at various stores were tested and nine out of 25 had bacteria. Three samples, however, contained yeast. Anyone who has had a Candida overgrowth problem can attest to the fact that once yeast finds a hospitable home, it's hard to uproot, whether in your mouth (thrush), your scalp (common cause of dandruff) or eye (conjunctivitis).
