At just 25-years-old, Iggy Azalea is pretty young for plastic surgery, right? Not in the age of the selfie. According to the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, a third of plastic surgeons saw an increase in procedures motivated by patients’ dissatisfaction with the way they looked on social media. That correlated with a 10 percent increase in rhinoplasty and a 6 percent increase in eyelid surgery (the study didn’t even count injectables, which 18-year-old selfie queen Kylie Jenner has been accused of using to plump up her lips). Here, Azalea opens up about the procedure’s she’s undergone, including a nose job and breast augmentation. If you are considering plastic surgery for yourself please discuss this with your family or physician before going under the knife. Do you think Generation Y’s anything-goes attitude about plastic surgery indicates a refreshing honesty, or a slippery slope toward total artificiality? Sound off in the comments.
