While February 5 might be internationally designated the Time to Talk Day, we believe that this is a topic that should get visibility year-round. We've all seen a friend's alarming Facebook status update or tweet and likely wondered how to reach out to that person. While it can seem like attention-getting behavior, it is most likely an attempt to communicate when feeling lonely and isolated. Instead of keeping this to one day a year, why don't we aim to utilize the best side of social media—the ability to stay connected—to help a friend in need or put your own emotional needs out there in the Twitterverse?
