A new study has shown that older women shouldn’t worry, because a clear connection has been shown: after menopause, more exercise simply equals more fat loss. This correlation likely has something to do with the new hormone balance established by the body after a woman’s childbearing years are behind her. The takeaway? More is better.
Study participants who did five hours of intense aerobic exercise per week lost much more fat than those who did the minimum recommendation of two and a half hours.
