Yoga Rooms Offer a Quiet Break in Hectic Airports

That dreaded airport announcement saying a flight is two-hours delayed has most of us high-tailing it for the nearest airport bar. But depending on which airport you’re in, there may be a more Zen option for maintaining your travel sanity. According to the 'New York Times', the airport yoga room trend that began at San Francisco International Airport has since spread to Chicago O’Hare, Dallas Fort Worth, Burlington Vermont and London Heathrow with plans to expand to Hong Kong. The rooms offer dim lighting, hardwood floors, mats, blocks and bolsters to practice yoga, meditate, stretch or just rest, and are proving particularly useful for perpetual travelers who find it difficult to squeeze in exercise during trips.
