David Gibbons is an award-winning wine and cheese expert and columnist for Wine Spectator. He is the co-author of several books, including Mastering Cheese, which was honored as the “Best Cheese Book in the World” at the 2011 Gourmand World Cookbook Awards. He has also received a James Beard Award for Cheese: A Connoisseur’s Guide to the World’s Best and was nominated for both a James Beard and IACP award for The Cheese Plate. He has co-written a wine guide, Overstreet’s New Wine Guide, and ghost written numerous cookbooks. Gibbons divides his time between New York City and San Francisco.
