Yoga is one of the oldest forms of physical and mental fitness dating back centuries and yet our mass love affair with it is relatively new. We are just starting to learn of all the different kinds like Anusara, Ashtanga, Bikram, Hatha, Iyengar, Kripalu, Kundalini, Jivamukti, Prenatal, Sivananda, Tantra, Vinyasa and Yin. Yoga is a practice that, although done mostly in group classes, connects an intense individual mental focus with physicality in breathing, muscle control, strength, balance, flexibility, and endurance. Yoga has transformed many a celebrity body from just buff to poised, present, elegant and shapely.
