Vaughn started his career when he just 14 and has since cut and styled over 100,000 heads of hair. After leaving Buffalo, New York, at the age of 21, he opened The Chris Vaughn Salon in Atlanta, where he started building his celebrity clientele. He eventually landed in Los Angeles, where he earned the moniker “Beverly Hills Barber” due to his impressive clientele and famous zip code. His biggest professional accomplishments include being invited to participate as a barber/stylist for the United States Olympic Team, becoming the barber of choice to Muhammad Ali, working on several Hollywood productions and getting into the coveted Television and Film Union and being asked to join the Oster Team of Hair Product Professionals as an Ambassador for the brand.
