“Appearance is the first way we communicate with the world, and beauty is multifaceted and empowering. My philosophy is to maintain elegance regardless of age, without altering the unique character of each person. Age-appropriate and person-appropriate rejuvenation should be at once invisible and timeless. A beautiful appearance makes a lasting impression when it conveys an inner sense of happiness, health and confidence. We live in the age of vitality—the new youth.”

Noted New York City plastic surgeon Haideh Hirmand is a thought leader in the field of aesthetic plastic surgery and known for her novel perspective on beauty and aesthetic rejuvenation. Her goal is not to create cookie-cutter “younger” visages, but to maintain attractiveness regardless of age, without altering a patient’s unique and natural characteristics. She has expertise in both cutting-edge surgical and non-surgical techniques. Recently, she’s become well-known for her great success with the very delicate eye area. She has developed an in-office technique called “microbeading for re-volumization of sunken lower eyelids.” This is a tear trough technique that uses blunt micro-cannulas to erase dark, baggy circles in a half-hour (as she demonstrated in real time on "The Dr. Oz show”).  While maintaining a clinical practice on Park Avenue, in Manhattan, New York, Hirmand continues to conduct research and has published numerous scientific articles as well as presented her work at international symposia.
